I currently work guiding outdoor adventures most recently in Finland, but also Nepal, and Iceland.

As well as being and an enthusiastic outdoors person, trekker and mountaineer, I am also trained as a scientist. My research involved applying Green chemistry to material synthesis.

An ideal job would allow me to combine my scientific and outdoor experience, this could be either conducting research in a remote location or doing field work for sample collection.

About this blog

This blog is used to provide information about my latest trips but also some past ones. I will also try to add sections on outdoors gear with reviews and my opinions, especially on kit for mountaineering, climbing and for cold weather.

In the future I aim to add a section on photography to show a few of my photos. Additional a few articles on cycle touring and road cycling may follow.
