At the end of September, after hoping to do so for several months, I summited Hrútsfjallstindar, one of the tallest mountains in Iceland at 1875 m.

UoN Mountaineers Annual Meet
The first weekend of March was the first annual meet for UoN Mountaineering. The club was formed by the merger of Explorers and MPS a few years ago, and so it was also a reunion for there members. I went on two walks, on the Saturday along High Street and the Sunday up Skiddaw.

Norway 2015: Time Lapse photos
On the expedition to Norway this summer I took a number of time lapse photo series. This was my first attempt at taking time lapse photos and in order to show them I have created the attached videos.

Norway: Summer 2015
This September, I went with University of Nottingham Mountaineering on their much anticipated expedition to Norway. Returning to the same location as last year with the aim of cleaning up the debris of a 1950’s glacier survey camp, we had a twelve person team which included two members of the 1959 glacier survey expedition.

Attempt at Skiddaw
I recently went for a walk with the plan to go up Skiddaw (931 m), the fourth highest mountain in the Lake District. After heavy snow some days before it turned to be more difficult than I expected.

Wild Lakes District weekend
Despite the mixed forecast this weekend I went to the Lake District with five friends, we camped on the Friday night, walked on the Saturday before camping and then walk back on the Sunday.
